HubSpot Marketing+: Its Marketing + CMS + Crazy Extra Content Tools

HubSpot’s Marketing and CMS tools have been overhauled and remixed into the Content Hub and Marketing+. In this blog post, we’ll break down the new Content Hub, Marketing+ and what’s changed from the Marketing Pro Hub you may be used to. 

*NEW* HubSpot Content Hub

Content Hub takes the HubSpot CMS Hub and adds in loads of more tools. Focused on content creation and management, it provides tools for building out website and landing pages, SEO tools, AI content assistance for website pages, emails, social posts and all content types, and offers in the Content Remix tools. The Content Remix Tools are really cool because they give you the ability to turn top-performing written content into repurposed blog, social and audio content with a little help from AI. The new HubSpot Content Hub is a fantastic way to supercharge your content creation process and deliver audio, video, and other content formats from the content you already have, or build it from scratch with a little help from the AI tools.

HubSpot Content Hub

Marketing Hub hasn’t changed too much but if you’ve been using Marketing Pro and are used to its features, you may be surprised to learn that landing pages are no longer included in Marketing Pro and have been reassigned over to Content Hub. You can still use landing pages, but they’ll have the HubSpot branding on them if you don’t have a Content Hub subscription (pro tip: Content Starter is very inexpensive and gets rid of that branding). You’ll still have access to marketing automation, email marketing, social media management, the CRM tools, and reports & dashboards but most of the website content has moved to Content Hub. 

CMS Hub

HubSpot CMS Hub doesn’t exist as a stand-alone Hub anymore! The CMS tools are now all integrated into the Content Hub. Website pages, landing pages, HubDB, CTAs, forms and blog management still exist as a package together, but now it’s called the Content Hub and includes those additional content tools listed above.  

If you are currently using CMS Pro, you’ll likely be moved over to Content Pro when your contract renews and you’ll unlock those new cool tools. 

*NEW* HubSpot Marketing+

If you are using Marketing Pro and CMS Pro together, you’re going to get excited for Marketing+. Instead of paying for two Hubs, the new Marketing+ package lets you add Content Pro onto Marketing Pro for only $100/month. 

If You’re Using Marketing Pro, You’ll Probably Want Marketing+ 

Marketing automation without landing pages doesn’t make much sense, and at the low price point of $100/month, unlocking all the new features of Content Hub is a fantastic value-add for your Marketing tools. 
Put another way, you can now host your entire website in HubSpot using the CMS tools for only $100/month if you’re already using the Marketing tools. 

Conclusion

The Content Hub on its own is $450/month and considering that you can host your entire website and all of your content on it and use the content remix tools that are part of it, that's not too bad of a price. But if you’re looking for just website hosting and don’t care about the other tools, that jump in price might be a deal breaker. We are huge fans of the HubSpot CMS so if you are thinking about migrating your site but aren’t sure on that price, please reach out to us.
